Ushers The Front Of House Musical is, unsurprisingly, a musical comedy set in the hectic front-of-house world of a West End theatre on the opening night of a sell-out show. The usual team are joined by new girl Lucy (Corrie Priest) fresh out of drama school, who has come to work as an usher until she gets her big break. The four other ushers are all either aspiring/thwarted actors or, in the case of Rosie (Alexandra Parkes), a celebrity stalker.

Woking Drama Festival

I know! It's been eight months since my previous blog entry. In my defence, though, I have been busy shooting two shorts, a feature film, and a web series. So let's move on.

Today I went to the opening night of the 57th Woking Drama Festival, where I saw two plays.

The first, by the Runnymede Drama Group Youth, was a production of Michael Scanlan's Loose Connections, an ensemble narrative about six pairs of people and how technology helps or hinders their communication.
